Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely adore Spellforce 1 and seeing a remaster made would make my year, but in it's current state I can't reasonably tell people it's a good game worth playing. It's a poorly translated German game set in a fairly generic fantasy setting with a weak RTS structure to support the bulk of it's runtime.
Pretty similar with Spellforce 2. First Shadow Wars -> Dragon storm -> (that abomination) Faith in Destiny -> Demons of the past. So far the prequel (Spellforce 3) leans more on stuff from Spellforce 1 than 2 from what I've already seen and heard. Truly is a shame the official forums are quiet. Maybe that will change when SP 3 is released.
Spellforce 3 on console is a GO! Announcement. Was trying to launch the game on Xbox all morning, and it finally let me in fifteen minutes ago. I enjoyed the game but by the end found it a bit of a chore. Love CRPGS and RTS and usually in the former dialogue and decisions are my favourite part. By the end i found myself skipping the dialogue as i lost interest just to finish the game. My questions is are the expansions an improvement, is the story any better. also in regard to the RTS side by the time id thought my fith battle against
