The Fenix 5x only comes in sapphire glass, which is a good thing. The sapphire glass is scratch resistant and more durable than the ones with normal glass. The non-5x models don't have a map display. The 5x has 12gb of memory to store maps. It's pre-loaded with maps and you can add (free) maps to the watch too.
